Focusing on design characteristics and architecture, the technology employed, the supported use case and the challenges and lesson learnt during the project phases Italian Defense development of a 5G private Mobile Network Infrastructure to provide mobile ICT services to military users and to increasingly use the new applications enabled by the technologies. The new infrastructure, designed and implemented to support 4 and 5G connectivity and provide standard based MCX services, is going to be integrated with existing infrastructural Italian Defence networks, to support tactical/deployable infrastructures.
