- Callout is an essential service in several TETRA networks today and must be carried forward when transitioning to broadband
- To address this, TCCA Critical Communications Broadband Group established the Mission Critical Broadband Callout task force, which has standardised an interoperable callout service fit for the broadband future
- Focusing on the importance of callout for control rooms and public safety workers, how the task force has worked within TCCA and with 3GPP, explaining the callout service and standard & looking ahead for testing and certification of broadband callout implementations
