The ICOM GM600 is a GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) Marine VHF radiotelephone which can be used as a part of GMDSS system equipment required by SOLAS or many domestic maritime regulations. The GM600 is designed to provide reliable operation and long-lasting durability under harsh maritime environments. It has an Intuitive User Interface, a 4.3 inch Wide Viewing Angle Colour TFT LCD for easy viewing, DSC Task Mode Operation for handling DSC messages, provides Loud and Clear Audio with its built-in 10W speaker and a front panel with IPX7 waterproof protection with a rear panel with corrosion resistance coating making it perfectly suitable for large and small vessels.

The ICOM GM800 is a GMDSS approved 150W Marine MF/HF radio, with IPx7 waterproof protection, a DSC Multi-task function, a Bridge Alert Management (BAM) Function when connected to the vessel BAM, 4.3 inch Wide Viewing Angle Color Display, a powerful loudspeaker and a Unified Design User Interface identical to the GM600 for easy operation. When both radios are installed the GM600 and GM800 radios provide an ideal GMDSS VHF, MF and HF radio station.
