TASSTA joins TCCA

29 July 2019 - Communication and data specialist TASSTA has announced its membership of TCCA, the global representative organisation for the critical communications ecosystem.

TASSTA offers a range of products, including voice communications and emergency solutions, as well as messaging and data transfers through a Push-To-Talk (PTT) solution, leveraging the technical capabilities of consumer smartphones.

According to a spokesperson for the company, its technology is “developed on the foundation of the team’s extensive expertise in the professional mobile radio market, working with major TETRA providers in different projects all over the world.

“The complete TASSTA solution comprises individual, group and priority calls, messaging including data transfer, voice recording, GPS and in-house tracking, alarm, emergency solutions and many other features. TASSTA technology is designed to enable users of TETRA or DMR networks to extend their coverage. With interconnection to the public IP network, geographical limitations are removed.”

Speaking of the company’s decision to join TCCA, TASSTA CEO Kaveh Hosseinzadeh said: “TASSTA, as a critical communication provider, needs to be a member of TCCA. For us it is important to be up-to-date about prominent events in the communications sector and not to miss innovative developments in the technology and smartphone world. We act worldwide so we have to stay informed and aligned with TCCA.”

TCCA chief executive Tony Gray said: “With the ongoing strength of TETRA and the steady development of critical broadband solutions, we are pleased to welcome TASSTA to TCCA as a centre of expertise in connecting users of both technologies, and look forward to learning from their experiences."
