SAFETY MEASURES

Our safety commitment to you

As organisers of CCW 2021, we regard the health and safety of everyone participating in the show as of paramount importance. Any measures that are put in place at the event will be to ensure the safety and comfort of all those on-site.

We are continuously updating our guidelines based on the government recommendations and working alongside the IFEMA Madrid with their venue protocols to make this happen. We look forward to welcoming you for a safe and enjoyable event!

We are implementing COVID-19 status checks
All attendees (visitors, exhibitors, speakers, contractors and event team) at CCW 2021 will need proof of COVID-19 status for entry to the event.

This will need to be one of the following:
  1. Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival.
  2. Proof of a negative lateral flow test result taken within 48hrs of arrival.*
  3. Proof of natural immunity as shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

*If your proof is a negative lateral flow test and you are onsite for multiple days this will need to be retaken and reported again every 72hrs. We recommend if this applies to you that you bring additional tests with you when you travel.

Although it is not mandatory to implement COVID-19 status checks at trade-show events, we believe by doing so we add an additional layer of reassurance for all attendees.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms then please do not enter into this event and follow the current government guidance.

BEFORE THE EVENT:

Check the website for all the latest information.

Please check your government advice for guidance on travelling overseas before entering the country and also plan for your return home by checking steps you will need to complete before return travel.

Please DO NOT attend the event if you or your staff are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.

DURING THE EVENT:

FACE COVERINGS

It is currently mandatory to wear face coverings in IFEMA Madrid.

We ask that you carry a mask with you at all times and be courteous to those around you by wearing a mask as required.
SOCIAL DISTANCING

We have introduced 3m aisles where possible across the entire event to encourage social distancing.

Please remember to respect the space of others and, if possible, avoid handshaking or hugs, consider an elbow bump instead!
HAND SANITISER

Please carry your own hand sanitiser and apply when you enter and leave exhibitor stands, features and theatres.

There will be dedicated hand sanitising stations available throughout the exhibition.

We have asked exhibitors to ensure a deeper clean before, during and after the show opens each day.

Along with IFEMA, we are conducting a thorough, enhanced cleaning regime of all public areas and features prior to show opening and during show open periods.
ENHANCED CLEANING

Along with IFEMA, we will ensure a thorough, enhanced cleaning regime of all the public areas, with particular attention to high-touch points.

This will be in operation throughout the duration of the show.
