Nokia showcases the future of mission-critical networks at Critical Communications World 2022

Nokia has announced that it will present its mission- and business-critical solutions for building secure, robust, and efficient broadband networks at Critical Communications World 2022, during the event in Messe Wien, Austria.

Nokia has spent three decades working hand in hand with first response services across the globe to build secure and robust mobile networks to support firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement and other key emergency services. Nokia is driving operational excellence in these critical environments by smoothly evolving first response teams towards 4G, 5G and eventually 6G mobile broadband communications and services. This enables mission- and business-critical end-users to respond faster, take evidence-based decisions and ultimately save more lives.

Situated at the Nokia Booth (#C90) and Critical Communications Finland’s booth, Nokia will demonstrate how next generation mobile broadband networks can unlock greater efficiency for emergency public services. In a series of presentations at the event, Nokia will showcase the future and current state of the transformation of mission-critical operations.

Alongside the presentations, Nokia will enable visitors to experience its mission-critical solutions using visual and immersive demonstrations. Experts will guide attendees through the key considerations and steps to rolling out mobile broadband for public safety.

Thomas Rehberg, Head of Public Safety Segment, Nokia, commented ahead of his panel discussion at CCW22: “As emergency and first responder services implement connected technology to drive efficiencies and improve outcomes, it’s key to consider the role of robust, reliable high-performance networks which support these new capabilities.”

“The Critical Communication World 2022 event in Austria provides a platform for business and public sector leaders to discuss how we can integrate new use-cases based on future communications networks in the most responsible, secure and forward-looking ways possible.”

Nokia experts will also demonstrate how its network solutions can progressively transform communications infrastructure without disrupting existing critical services. Specifically, Nokia will showcase how to modernise mission-critical networks – integrating use-cases such as adding video to push-to-talk, without abandoning legacy voice communications services.
