Teltronic: Bangkok transport roll-out illustrates the value of TETRA
Teltronic will provide TETRA technology to the ‘Gold’ line, a new rapid transit system feeder line being constructed in Bangkok.
The Gold line will handle around 47,000 passengers a day. It will link to two other lines - Green and Purple – on the Bangkok network.
Speaking of the roll-out, APAC regional director for Teltronic, Josep Jonch said: “We feel honoured to have [system integrator] AMR Asia’s trust to provide the mission critical communications for the Gold line project. Thailand [will be] a key country for us in the coming years.”
Felipe Sanjuán, Teltronic transport business development director said: “This project brings to light once again the versatility and reliability of TETRA in transport environments, and the bright future that lies ahead for this technology. TETRA manufacturers keep innovating every year.”
