Asif Hamidullah
Asif has 24+ years of experience in the wireless industry providing strategic consulting services to companies in the Telecoms & IoT verticals. He is the Head of Certification - IoT & Verticals at the Global Certification Forum (GCF), where his responsibilities include technology roadmap planning and execution, for Mission Critical Services (MCX), IoT Products, and Cyber Security. He also serves as the Convenor of the MCX Workstream, the Internet of Things Agreement Group, and is leading a Joint Task Force on IoT Security. Prior to his consulting career, Asif was a member of the Chief Technology Office at TELUS Communications, where his responsibilities included Device Strategy Planning & Development. Asif graduated from the University of Waterloo with Honours B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Management Sciences.
