I’ve worked for the Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP) for 6 years, starting off in an administration position and working my way up in the organisation. In my current role as PMO Analyst, I provide support in a Relationship Management capacity to the Mobile Data & Vehicle Solution (MDVS) Programme Team, ensuring all project and programme governance is followed across the many workstreams. This includes risks, issues, reporting, communications and social media, lessons learned and planning. Alongside my day to day PMO duties, I work closely as part of a team supporting London Ambulance Service with their implementation of MDVS across a fleet of over 800 vehicles in their installation programme, and I am also responsible for overseeing the delivery of 70+ Mental Health Response Vehicles into several English Ambulance Trusts ensuring they are fully kitted out with communication equipment before being put into service. To date as a programme we have rolled out over 2,300 (over a ⅓ of the MDVS programme delivery), with our new system that includes a Windows 10 LTSC operating system with the National Mobilisation Application on a tablet. ARP are live with installations across several ambulance Trusts which has been a huge achievement for the programme and I’m very proud to be part of such a great team! I’m also incredibly proud to be 1 of 3 winners of the British Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (BAPCO) Ian Thompson Bursary Award 2024, and very much look forward to joining the Rising Stars Panel at Critical Communications World in Dubai in May this year.
