Marko Höyhtyä works at the Finnish National Defence University where his professorship focuses on disruptive technologies and application of them into defence needs. He was Research Professor of satellite communications at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and he has done multiple international research visits in Europe and in the U.S. He has over 20 years’ experience in critical communications systems and he has published two books about SatComs. He is also an entrepreneur and frequent speaker in international conferences.
