Michel works at the department for critical communication at the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection. His area of expertise is within TETRA and Misscion Critical Services, with a dedicated focus on cross border communication with the neighboring countries Sweden and Finland. After deployment and operations with the Inter System Interface in the TETRA networks Virve, RAKEL and Nødnett, participates Michel in a founding role to replace the ISI with the MCX Interconnection as part of the future national project to deploy a Mission Critical Broadband network in Norway, that continues with cross border communication between Finland, Sweden and Norway. International ly participates Michel in the EU Critical Communications System  preparations project from Public Safety Community Europe  and co-chairs The Critical Communications Association Interworking Workgroup.
