Stefano works as Director, Technical Standards in Qualcomm. Stefano has 31 years of experience in standardization and R&D for wireless networks and 25 years direct experience in 3GPP for cellular technologies focusing in the last years on enabling verticals like aviation and uncrewed airborne devices via 3GPP technologies. Stefano has been actively promoting and advocating cellular technologies in ACJA, RTCA, ASTM, EUROCAE, GUTMA and has been actively working with FAA, the US DoT, EASA, and the FCC. Stefano actively supports the internal business unit focusing on the aviation vertical and works with OEM partners and system integrator for the creation of aerial platforms that leverage cellular technologies.
