Vijay Sukumaran Nair is an Embedded Systems and Telecom Software professional with over 20 years of experience in mission-critical communication systems, including TETRA, Project 25, IMS, and VoIP technologies. He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Smart Route, where he leads the end-to-end design, development, and commercialisation of MCX Application Servers and TETRA/P25 systems, aligned with 3GPP, ETSI, TCCA, and APCO P25 standards.

Prior to joining Smart Route, Vijay held senior technical leadership roles at LG Electronics, where he led the global commercialisation of IMS clients and servers supporting VoLTE, VoWiFi, RCS, and SMSoIP across multiple operators and regions. Earlier in his career, he also contributed to CableLabs PacketCable 2.0 initiatives and enterprise VoIP/SIP PBX platforms.
